Bernie Woods - Company of Adventurers

Bernie Woods, Founder   

 

Bernie began the Company of Adventurers with a goal of passing on a love of wild places to a generation of young people in the Calgary area. Bernie grew up exploring the Canadian Rockies and continues his explorations with programs that appeal to students of all ages in our beautiful landscapes.

 

 

 

 

 

Bryce Willigar, Program Director

 

Bryce comes from Innisfail, Alberta, a small town in the central part of the province. It was there that he fell in love with nature and the outdoors. Bryce is a graduate of the Bachelor of Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership program from Mount Royal University, and was a cross country skiing instructor and hiking guide before coming to COA. He spends all of his free time exploring the mountains on skis, on foot or his mountain bike.

 

 

 

Max Shilleto, Logistics Administrator

 

Max grew up in Calgary, Banff, and Vancouver Island and graduated with a Bachelor of Communication degree from Mount Royal University. He is passionate about the mountains, outdoor athletics and wildlife photography. He enjoys travelling, kayaking, and hiking the Rockies with his dog.
